Program description:

This broadcast of Air Toxics Now will be devoted entirely to the Clean Air Mercury Rule and will feature a historical perspective of mercury emissions and the Clean Air Act. The broadcast will also include the influence of the Clean Air Interstate Rule. In addition, the broadcast will feature the guiding principles behind the Clean Air Mercury Rule and the health effects of concern. Other topics to be covered will be Control Technology and Implementation - including monitoring, cap & trade and the timeline.

Target audience:

This broadcast is developed especially for State, local and Tribal air toxics personnel to support implementation of air toxic reduction programs.
